Fojtka family estate
A two generation estate can be found in a protected landscape area of Jizera mountain range near Liberec. The design uses the configuration of the terrain and the specific shape of the parcel and creates an indented cluster of masses concentrated around a courtyard; the centre of social course of events in the house. The building consists of two living quarters interconnected between each other and with the swimming pool and the multimedia room. The use of natural materials such as wood and stone, underlines the main concept of harmonic incorporation of the house into the pictorial country of the foothills of the Jizera mountain range.
The project had been designed while working in the architectonic studio Hlaváček & partner.
